About ETA
Who We Are
Equine Training Australia is based in Tamworth, NSW, and delivers training through the Australian Equine and Livestock Events Centre (AELEC) — one of Australia's premier equine facilities.
Our trainers are nationally and internationally trained, active in their fields, and running successful equine businesses. They teach because they are passionate about the profession and the next generation entering it.
Built by Industry. Taught by Practitioners.
Every part of this program was shaped by the Australian equine industry — from the qualification itself through to the trainers who deliver it.
The Only Nationally Recognised Qualification
The Diploma of Equine Allied Health is the only AQF qualification in Australia to formally accredit both Equine Dentistry and Equine Massage Therapy — approved by Australia's Skills Ministers after a national industry consultation process.
Trainers Still Working in the Field
Our trainers are active, successful practitioners running their own equine businesses nationally and internationally. They bring current, real-world knowledge into every training block — not textbook theory from a decade ago.
World-Class Training Facility
Practical training takes place at AELEC in Tamworth, NSW — a premier equine facility with dedicated classrooms, high-quality stables, and real horses in real client scenarios from day one.
